Why we started Buy First Home

Buying a home for the first time is one of the most significant financial decisions most people will ever make. It’s also one of the most complicated and least transparent processes in modern life. Yet first-time buyers typically navigate it with almost no professional guidance specifically working in their interests.

Estate agents work for the seller. Mortgage brokers are incentivised by the products they recommend. Solicitors are overloaded and often communicate in ways that are hard for non-lawyers to understand. Meanwhile, the buyer — the person handing over their life savings — is expected to figure it out as they go.

Buy First Home was created to change that. We work exclusively for buyers, drawing on deep expertise in finance and property to give first-time buyers the informed support they deserve.
